Camino Verde cacao comes from just outside Guayaquil, Ecuador, where microbiologist Vicente Norero runs one of the most scientifically rigorous fermentories in craft chocolate, coaxing warm, spiced, floral notes out of single-variety Nacional beans. This 0.5 oz square carries the same 70% single-origin profile as our full-size bar: cinnamon roll and almond butter up front, sweet florals on the finish. A great way to try Camino Verde before committing to a full bar, or to add to a tasting flight of your own. Roasted and made from scratch in our Bend, Oregon roastery.
The catalog often lists the same model at several merchants — worth a price check before you buy.
