Privacy policy

The short version

dialed is a product discovery site. We don't have accounts, we don't process payments, and we don't collect personal information to show you products. When you buy something, you buy it on the merchant's own store under the merchant's privacy policy.

What we collect

• Search queries, sent to Shopify's Global Catalog API to return results. We don't link them to you.
• Local preferences, your chosen shipping country, language and compare list are stored in your browser's local storage, never on our servers.
• Standard server logs. IP address and user agent, retained briefly for security and performance.
• Aggregate analytics via Google Analytics, so we can see which pages are useful and how the site performs. It is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.

What we don't do

• No sale of personal data, ever.
• No payment processing, checkout happens on merchant stores.
• No cross-site advertising trackers following you around the web.

Advertising and sponsorship

dialed shows clearly labeled featured and sponsored placements from brands and merchants. These are sold directly by us and do not track you or profile your browsing. If we ever add a third-party display-ad network, we will disclose it here and note any cookies it sets, and you will always be able to tell sponsored placements apart, they are labeled.

Outbound links

Links to merchant stores include tracking parameters (UTMs) so merchants can see the visit came from dialed. These identify dialed, not you. Once on a merchant's site, their privacy policy applies, each product page links the seller's storefront where their policies are published.

Updates to this policy

We may revise this policy as dialed evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
