Our Espresso Blend is a mixture of some of our outstanding coffees. Each coffee is roasted separately, then blended after cooling. For pulling shots of espresso we recommend 20 grams of finely ground coffee into the portafilter and 30 grams of espresso out in 25 to 30 seconds. Since this is a blend of coffees roasted differently, it doesn't have a true roast level, as some of the beans are light, some are medium and some are medium dark. Espresso Blend is also great for brewing toddy. A 5lb bag should yield roughly 110 shots of espresso, or five 1/2 gallons of toddy. Contender Coffee is roasted daily, so you can rest assured that when you receive your coffee, it is fresh.
