[ Filter - Light Roast] Agtron #93 Note: mango candy, peach, orange blossom, honey Processing: ASD Varietal: Geisha, DILGO Region: Chiriquí, Boquete, Panama Farm: Altieri Altitude: 1600M+ About Farm: Altieri Specialty Coffee is a second-generation family-owned operation in Boquete, Panama, founded by Eugene Altieri (often called "Don Gene"). An Italian-American entrepreneur who moved to Panama in 1973, Eugene originally purchased the land in 2005 as an investment without prior coffee experience, only to discover its exceptional potential for growing specialty varieties. The farm is divided into 11 distinct plots (tablons) named after Eugene's grandchildren; for example, the Dilgo lot (named after his grandson Diego) contains the farm's oldest Geisha trees, planted in 2007.
The catalog often lists the same model at several merchants — worth a price check before you buy.
