Hidden Malabar Single Origin Coffee Composed of "monsoon" process single-origin beans from the mountainous regions of Mysore Coorg, India, Hidden Malabar is a creamy, malty coffee with naturally low acidity and pronounced sweetness. The "monsoon" process emulates the conditions of coffee being transported on wooden sailing ships and the beans are exposed to moist monsoon winds in a process that takes 12 to 16 weeks. Monsooning increases the moisture content of the beans and increases their size. Hidden Malabar is roasted to bring out the inherent caramel sweetness of the coffee with notes of raisin. It pulls excellent as espresso and is decisive in milk drinks. Sold in 1lb Bags of Whole Bean Coffee
