How do I fit an espresso setup in a small kitchen?
Measure height before width. Most home machines need 40 to 45 cm of vertical clearance to open the top-fill water tank, and that is what actually kills small-kitchen plans, not the footprint.
Do I need a dedicated circuit for my espresso machine?
Usually not for a single machine, but do not share a circuit with another high-draw appliance. Most home espresso machines draw roughly 1,200 to 1,600 W, and running one alongside a kettle, toaster or microwave on the same 15 A circuit will trip the breaker.
How do I keep my coffee station from getting covered in grounds?
Most of the mess is static-driven grind spray and knock-box splash. RDT on the beans, a dosing funnel on the basket and a bar mat under the machine solve almost all of it in about a minute a day.
What should I put on a coffee cart setup?
A cart works if it is stable, rated for the weight, and organised into grind, prep and pull zones. Prioritize a solid top surface and locking castors over shelf count, because tamping on a wobbling cart ruins shots.
How should I store coffee beans?
Keep beans whole, airtight, at room temperature and away from light. Do not put your working bag in the fridge. For anything you will not drink within about a month, freeze it in single-dose portions before it goes stale.
