Yes — its 38mm conical steel burrs and micrometric stepless adjustment let you fine-tune to espresso grind sizes, making it a strong, affordable entry-level espresso grinder. What's the difference between Fred Prima and Fred Tempo? The Prima (this model) uses manual front-button activation — you grind by pressing the portafilter against the switch. The Tempo adds a timer for repeatable, hands-free doses. Ask our team if you'd like the Tempo. Can it grind for filter or French press too? Yes — the stepless adjustment covers a wide range from fine espresso through to coarser French press, with a granulometry scale on the hopper to help you find your setting. Which machines pair well with it? It's an ideal match for the Lelit Anna and Elizabeth, and other entry-to-mid home machines. You can also buy it bundled — see the Anna + Fred package.
