PRO TIPS Per Rancilio's own technical bulletin, torque the fixing nut properly after installation to prevent steam from escaping around the threads. Even though this steel element tolerates a partially full boiler better than the old copper version, still top off the boiler after extended steaming to protect the element long-term. Confirm your boiler is the July 2013+ threaded/keyed version before ordering, older brazed-element Silvia boilers cannot use this part.
