Eureka Mignon Automatic Tamper The Eureka Mignon Automatic Tamper is an automated tamping station designed for standalone use and for pairing with a wide range of Eureka Mignon Grinders. A built-in 58mm piston delivers consistent, effortless tamps that can be customized to your desired pressure. Tamp pressure can be set between 10 and 30 and the Automatic Tamper can be set to either tamp once, or twice in a row. When setting your portafilter, the adjustable for can be positioned for a clearance between 1.5 - 2.38" to lock the portafilter in place during tamping. By default, the Automatic Tamper features a rubber mat with slots for a leveling tool and a dosing funnel. When this mat is removed, there are four dedicated slots underneath that the feet of the Mignon fit into. The Automatic Tamper will add 7" to the height of any Mignon grinder it is placed under.
