Mahlkönig E65S GbW Espresso Grinder The E65S GbW combines 65 mm special-steel burrs with real-time Grind-by-Weight dosing, Disc Distance Detection, and automatic portafilter detection. The U.S. 60 Hz model produces 5–6 g/s from a 580 W motor at 1700 RPM. Real-Time Grind-by-Weight An integrated load cell weighs grounds during grinding and stops at the assigned target, reducing the need to weigh each portafilter separately. Portafilter Detection The grinder can recognize up to six portafilters and automatically load the dose profile assigned to each one. Disc Distance Detection DDD measures burr spacing to make grind settings visible and repeatable; grind adjustment itself remains a barista-controlled step.
