The 8cm version weighs 4.5g, making it suitable for lighter presentations and shallower water fishing where a more subtle approach is needed. The 12cm version at 15.5g provides the weight necessary for casting distance and deeper water applications where you need to reach fish holding at lower depths. Both sizes utilise PVC material construction that creates realistic swimming action when retrieved through the water.

Features and Construction

The soft bait tackle is designed with specific measurements and material choices that affect its performance in various fishing situations. Each dimension has been selected to create particular actions in the water that can trigger strikes from predatory fish species.

Material and Build

Constructed from PVC plastic material, these lures benefit from the flexibility and buoyancy characteristics inherent to this material. The PVC construction allows the lure body to move naturally in the water, creating swimming motions that mimic injured baitfish or other prey items. This material choice affects how the lure responds to different retrieval speeds and techniques, with the flexibility enabling lifelike tail and body movements that can prove irresistible to game fish.

Size and Practical Fit

The two available sizes - 8cm and 12cm - cater to different fishing scenarios and target species. The 8cm length paired with its 4.5g weight makes this option suitable for lighter fishing setups, finesse techniques, or when targeting smaller to medium-sized fish in clearer water conditions. The 12cm version with its 15.5g weight provides additional casting distance and sink rate advantages, making it better suited for covering larger areas of water, fishing deeper structures, or targeting larger predatory species that prefer bigger prey presentations.

Uses and Placement

These simulation soft baits are designed for freshwater and saltwater fishing applications where realistic lure action can make a significant difference in catch rates. The specific measurements and material properties determine where and how they perform best in various fishing environments.

Event or Professional Use

For competitive fishing situations or professional guiding scenarios, having precise measurements like the 4.5g and 15.5g weights allows for accurate tackle selection based on water conditions and fish behaviour. The 8cm option provides a finesse presentation that can work well in pressured fisheries where fish have seen numerous lures, while the 12cm option offers a more substantial profile that can trigger reaction strikes from aggressive fish. The multiple colour variations (1-12) enable quick adaptation to changing light conditions or water clarity during fishing events.

Everyday Home Use

For recreational anglers building their tackle collection, these lures offer versatility through the two size options and twelve colour variations.
