Blackberry, Orange, Panela Country: Ethiopia Region: Yirgacheffe Process: Natural Variety: Heirloom Elevation: 1900-2400 masl Background information This coffee comes from the Chelbessa Processing Station in Yirgacheffe, one of the largest “Kebeles” (towns) in Gedeb. The station sources coffee from nearly 500 farmers in the area, with smallholders delivering their cherries for sorting and processing. The station uses the natural method, where cherries are dried on raised beds under the sun. In Yirgacheffe, many farmers grow coffee without the use of fertilizers or pesticides, resulting in a naturally clean and pure cup profile. By sourcing from the same processing stations each year through our trusted export partners, we ensure consistent quality and a direct connection to the region. This coffee captures the essence of Yirgacheffe – vibrant, full of life, and packed with unique flavours. We know you're going to love it!
