Tanzania: AA Sambewe - Microlot This month's Origin Select is a washed-process microlot from Tanzania's Mbozi District, grown at 1,616 meters above sea level by more than 440 smallholder farmers of the Sambewe AMCOS cooperative. Featuring mellow notes of fresh melon, peanut butter, and malt with a mild syrupy sweetness, this medium roast reflects Tanzania's rich coffee heritage and meticulous processing. Carefully selected from the highest-scoring harvests, the coffee is depulped, fermented, washed, and slowly dried to bring out its vibrant character.
