This Caturra was selected by Chase and Micah on their ICONIK Origin trip to Colombia earlier this year. After discovering this coffee, they purchased, vacuum-sealed, and quickly air-freighted it to Santa Fe; preserving farm-fresh quality and making this one of the freshest off-harvest coffees available anywhere on earth. This coffee was oxidized in cherry for 36 hours then traditionally washed. Brewed, it is soft, with vanilla, apricot, orange acidity and juicy grape. Jorge Elías Rojas is a 4th-generation farmer who has garnered renown for himself and others in his community. His experimental processes and fermentations have become a mainstay those of us who treasure amazing coffee.
