PRO TIPS Threading the spout on can take real effort, if it won't seat far enough, clamp it and use a wrench with a firm twist; in stubborn cases, clamping the spout in a bench vice and cranking the handle body is the only way to get it home. If it threads on too far instead, PTFE tape or a gasket at the joint solves it.
