The Eureka Mignon Automatic Tamper is an electromechanical tamping station that presses a level, repeatable coffee dose in under a second and a half. It's built to sit alongside a Mignon grinder, but works just as well as a standalone tamper on any bench that needs consistent pressure without the guesswork of doing it by hand. Automatic Tamping In Under A Second A single tamp takes 0.9 seconds; switch to double mode for two consecutive presses in 1.4 seconds when you're running back-to-back doubles. Both use the same fixed pressure every time, so the tenth shot of the day is levelled exactly the same way as the first. The piston is set to a standard 58mm, matching most portafilters without an adapter. Built To Pair With Mignon, Built To Stand Alone The fork adjusts in height from 39mm to 60.6mm, so it lines up with a Mignon's dosing position or sits over a portafilter on its own without the grinder attached at all. At 4kg and a footprint of 143 x 125 x 179mm, it's compact enough for a bench that's already carrying a grinder and a machine. The body finishes in matt black with a chrome fork, so it doesn't look out of place next to either.
