Tasting Notes Sweet and creamy with notes of orange, plum and chocolate Region Huehuetenango Producer Coop Esquipulas Altitude 1,750mts Varietal Bourbón, Caturra, Catuai Process Fully washed and sun-dried Story We crafted our Armonía blend from coffee sourced from a collective of small-scale women producers affiliated with COOPESQUI, a women-led cooperative based in Huehuetenango dedicated to empowering women and advancing gender equity in coffee production. This Armonía coffee embodies the harmonious balance characteristic of Huehuetenango beans. Each farmer meticulously pulps, ferments, and washes their coffee at home before delivering it to the cooperative. For our Armonía blend, we meticulously select high-quality coffees imbued with notes of red fruits, orange, and sweet coffee, resulting in a brew distinguished by its sweetness and balance. COOPESQUI takes pride in compensating its producers beyond fair trade prices, providing skill-building opportunities, and offering technical support to its members. Additionally, the cooperative operates a healthcare center and pharmacy, providing subsidized services to community members.
