Mahlkönig E80S GbW Espresso Grinder The E80S GbW is Mahlkönig's legacy high-volume Grind-by-Weight platform. It combines 80 mm special-steel burrs, 7–8 g/s output, real-time weight dosing, Disc Distance Detection, and automatic recognition for up to six portafilters. High-Speed Weight Dosing An integrated load cell weighs coffee during grinding and stops at the assigned target, while the 845 W U.S. motor and active cooling support heavy service. Portafilter Detection The grinder can recognize up to six portafilters, select the assigned profile, and start the grind automatically. Disc Distance Detection DDD measures burr spacing for repeatable settings. Unlike newer Grind-by-Sync models, the E80S GbW does not motorize or automatically change the grind setting.
