For the most accurate results, measure the shirt laid flat on a hard surface with a soft tape measure or ruler. Measurements below are given as a method to measure both the garment and your body. Garment measurements (recommended) Chest / Bust (Pit to Pit): Lay the shirt flat and smooth out wrinkles. Measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other, then double that number to get the full chest circumference. Shoulder width: Measure straight across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Alternatively, measure from the center back at the base of the collar around the shoulder to the cuff (this is how some brands report sleeve length). Front length (High Point Shoulder – HPS): Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the base of the collar) straight down to the hem.
