Against plaster, the bold blue reads less sweet, more deliberate. A chunky cartoon cat clutches a mug with the kind of pre-coffee expression most of us recognise before 9am. The line is loose and confident, the cream background keeps it light, and the joke lands without trying too hard. It works best in a kitchen above the kettle, a small home office, or a hallway you walk past on the way to make tea. Pair it with pale wood cabinets, stoneware mugs and a linen tea towel or two. Skip it in a very formal sitting room — the humour wants somewhere relaxed. Printed on premium fine-art paper for crisp line work and steady cream tones.
