Q: How does the magnetic attachment work on this dosing ring? A: The dosing ring features built-in magnets that allow it to snap securely and instantly onto the rim of your portafilter basket. This keeps the ring stable while you grind or distribute coffee grounds, and it removes just as easily for tamping or cleaning — no tools required. Q: What is the dosing ring made of, and is it food-safe? A: The BINCOO Dosing Ring is constructed from high-quality aluminium alloy with no high-concern chemicals. It is designed for use with dry ground coffee and does not come into direct contact with your espresso beverage. Q: Will this dosing ring fit my espresso machine's portafilter? A: The 51mm ring fits most smaller home espresso portafilters, while the 58mm size is compatible with the majority of commercial-style home espresso machines, including popular brands that use a standard 58mm group head. If you're unsure, measure your portafilter basket's inner diameter before purchasing.
