Chunkies are a molded item with nuts and/or fruits covered in milk or dark chocolate to create a solid base of chocolate topped with nuts or fruit, depending on variety. (White chocolate is available with a special order by emailing hello@jomartchocolates.com) The backstory: In the 1930's my grandfather, Julius Rogak, made an item called Treats. My father, Martin, told me about them, but the molds were nowhere to be found. During one of our expansions, a lot of old boxes had to be moved to make some space available. A box broke under a pile of old Easter molds and my grandfather's Treat molds were found. Since then, we re-introduced Treats as Chunkies. Our current varieties include: The Original Brooklyn Chunkies - Roasted cashews and California raisins Fruit Chunkies - Dried strawberries, cherries, blueberries and cranberries Cranberry Nut Chunkies - A mix of pecans, cranberries, almonds, pepitas, and raisins Available by the pound or in our signature gift box -- Allergens: Contains: Dairy, Soy, Tree Nuts (type pending variety), (choose dark chocolate for a dairy free option) Complete ingredients available by emailing ingredients@jomartchocolates.com Manufactured in a facility that processes/packages products that contain peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, sesame & wheat
