The Nicaraguan bean is from a biodiverse farm, where our coffee buyers got to fill their own basket with beans picked from the tree by the farmer. This bean makes the ideal dark-roasted flavor profile, maybe because the farm grows in the shadow of a volcano. The cup has low acidity and is smooth from start to finish with hints of raisins, roasted walnuts, and dark chocolate.
