Some descalers are too powerful and strip the metal off internal espresso machine components. Others are not powerful enough. We find this descaler to be just right. Please follow the espresso machine manufacturer’s instructions first as every machine is different. As with any descaling agent, never allow the solution to sit on any external parts and wipe off any spillage/droplets immediately. Descaling recommended: Coffee cups per day 10 – descale every month Cups of coffee per day 5-10 – descaling every 2 months Coffee cups a day 1-5 – descale every 3 months
