Our darkest roast. A full-bodied roast with attitude, Black Derby blends Ethiopian and Sumatran coffees for a bold cup layered with fresh cracked black pepper, dark chocolate, and molasses. Strong, grounding, and unapologetically rich. Many will tell you dark roasts are "burnt". We may be a bit old school but we think the right coffee, in the right hands, can shine as a dark roast. Great on its own, the Black Derby also shines with any proportion of milk or cream.
