Themis packs a bunch of features to its tiny footprint from Flow Rate monitoring, to Auto Taring to a full suite of tools on the included app for iOS and Android. Themis features a tinted Tempered glass front in a first for espresso scales of this calibre, reducing the chance of staining whilst giving a good view of the internals of the scale, tidily displayed. In the Automatic mode, the scale will auto-tare upon placing a cup on the surface, then will automatically start the timer on the first drop detected. At the end of extraction, the timer will stop either manually by a press of a button or when the flow rate hits zero. Handily, the average flow rate is then displayed. Using the app on your iOS or Android device, Themis allows you to monitor flow rate and weight in real time. An optional pressure monitoring device can be used in conjunction to profile pressure and output flow together.
